We are approaching our 4th year of monthly walks in and around Wimbish and neighbouring villages. We have had an average attendance of about 15 walkers although probably over 40 people have joined us at different times. The walks are almost always on the second Sunday of the month and the time of day changes according to the time of year ie mornings in the winter months and afternoons/evenings in the summer. We usually walk 4 miles or so in a couple of hours and often have tea/coffee and cake at the end, either at someone’s home or from the boot of the car.

We are happy to welcome new walkers (and well behaved dogs on leads) to come along to any of our walks and Olive or Penny will be pleased to give further information if required. If anyone would like to suggest a route or lead a walk we would be very happy to hear from you.

Nov 9th: 10.30am at Radwinter House (next to the old Radwinter Mushroom Farm)

Dec14th: 10.30am Wrights Yard (Top Road, Wimbish Green) Followed by mulled
wine and mince pies etc

Jan 11th: 10.30am Wimbish Recreation Ground

Feb 8th: 10.30am White Hart Wimbish followed by lunch at the pub. If you require
lunch please let Olive know a few days beforehand if possible and allow time to choose and order lunch before the walk starts.

March 8th: 10.30am Debden Recreation Ground

April 12th: 2.30pm Wimbish Church

May 10th: 2pm Wimbish Recreation Ground to share cars to drive to Ugley.
