WIMBISH BUS SERVICES

There are four types of bus that serve Wimbish: The full timetable (pdf) for all regular services is on this printer friendly, 4 page document (you need only print the one page that relates to your local stop)

Normal service buses: get on and off at a bus stop, bus passes valid after 9:00 am and all day Saturdays. Routes 313 and 313A (from Carver Barracks to Saffron Walden, Thaxted & Dunmow), 313A (from Tye Green & White Hart to Saffron Walden only).

Schoolday buses: take secondary school children to school in Saffron Walden (413 & 414) & Newport (453). These behave like normal service buses: anyone can use them, bus passes valid after 9:00am.

DART2 services: these must be booked at least two hours in advance and anyone may use them. Collect from bus stops or your own house. Bus passes valid. DART2 has some regular timetabled runs: these are on the timetable but there are also other runs when there is a demand for them. See .arrowtaxi.co.uk/dart2

Uttlesford Community Travel. Only for the elderly and infirm. Hospital cars will get you to and from hospital appointments. Minibuses will collect and return folk to their homes for visits to town etc. You must be a member (£10 a year) and pay a modest fare. Bus passes not valid. See: uttlesfordcommunitytravel.org
